Research Design 2: Critical interpretation of a cultural artifact or performance

The Research Design #1 can be used for reference. (File below) As the course progresses, you will design potential research projects using the methods we have explored thus far. These 3 page (double spaced) outlines will help you apply concepts and strategies for undertaking research projects you might be interested in pursuing. In general, your outlines will identify a cultural artifact, practiceor performance(topic), an interpretation or argument you would like to make about it(thesis), the methods you will use to advance your thesis (image analysis, ethnography, autoethnography, etc.), and sources that will support your research(bibliography)
